Hey all, this relates to a decklink capture using ffmpeg
I've got a new setup, 2 television studios and and 1 videohub. i am capturing 1080i.
Each TVS SDI output is captured via a decklink mini recorder on win7 pro, 16GB ram, 64bit, 120GB samsung SSD.
Im using ffmpeg to capture with a script compiled with autoIT.
Both setups are identical. Now with one i am recording fine, no issues no problems. Get great video and have all the control i need
Other setup however, i can record video but get no audio.
Recording video with video source "blackmagic WDM Capture" and audio source is "blackmagic audio capture" via ffmpeg, get video no audio.
VLC i can select the same in capture devices, but only get video no audio, now if i "configure" the device in vlc "open media" and change the "video format" from HD 1080i 50 - 8 bit 4:2:2 YUV to HD 1080i 50 - 10 bit 4:2:2 YUV, i lose video(why?) but regain audio(double why)......
When i use blackmagic media express, i can record both video and audio.
I've tried installing new and older versions of desktop video previously, but now i keep getting a 2753 install error and cant install anything prior to 10.0. Ive tried various fixes for this short of reinstall win7.
I am a relative noob to video and broadcasting especially digital HD, but manage to get my head around most things and have got this far.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
