Please Help -No SDI Output from HDMI to SDI Mini Converter

Please Help -HDMI to SDI – Black Magic Mini Converter – No Output: I just bought HDMI to SDI mini converter to convert HDMI to SDI. The Output of the converter I am feeding into SDI of fibrelink Model- 3150 HD/SD-SDI Compliant with full SMPTE 259M-2006, 292-2006, 297-2006 for Transmission over fiber I have changed and tried with all the types of HDMI input signals. I don,t get the SDI output – To check the SDI output of the converter - i am using ikigami SDI monitor – to additionally check I have also tried giving the output of the converter to Kramer –Model FC4045. I have also tried dip switch 1 in the converter with different input of HDMI. To check my fibrelink 3150 – It works fine with the color bar of the SDI output of the Kramer.

What is your source to the convertor? Do you have other sources to test with?

I am using HDMI output of the android box to the mini converter - I have changed HDMI output of the android box to the following HDMI outputs 480p ,576i, 576p, 720p-60hz, 720p-50hz,1080i-60hz, 1080i-50hz, 1080p-60hz, 1080p-50hz & tried

I have also tried with the different HDMI output of PC & Laptop - I have also tried with different HDMI video outputs of DVD player

The SDI fibrelink -3150 i am using to feed in the output of SDI of the mini converter is a four year old product with the following specs.
Fiberlink® 3150 Transmitter Specifications
Data Rate Range: 19.4 Mbps to 1.5 Gbps
Supported Standards: SMPTE 259M, 292, 297, 305M, 310M, 344M, DVB-ASI
Re-clocked Data Rates 270 Mbps (SMPTE 259M,DVB-ASI-270),1.485Gbps (SMPTE 292)
Equalization Automatic up to 200m of Belden1694A at 1.485 Gbps and 350m at 270 Mbps
Return Loss >15dB up to 1.485 Gbps

similarly the Kramer SDI to AV converter & the SDI ikigami monitor used for testing are a bit old SDI equipments and not the latest.

A couple of questions:
Are you using the Mini converter to down convert to SD or are you using it only for converting to SDI.
If you are sending a HD-signal are your monitor capable of showing a HD-sdi signal?
The mini converter can down convert to SD if you only have a SD-sdi monitor. Set dipswitch 1 to processing on.
Your problem could also be that the android box have copyright protected signal and i´m not sure if you can convert that to sdi.

The SDI Monitor is a basic SDI Monitor & i need to down convert to SDI only - the source i have tried with PC also and my android box is a basic and it is not copy protected.
