ATEM Extreme - What does blinking "ON AIR" button indicate?

I've been streaming from this unit to a Peertube server on the local network for several months (weekly streams). It's been largely solid until a couple weeks ago when the button would blink and I would get some drop outs on the stream. I'm trying to troubleshoot the issue but support can't tell me what the blinking is supposed to indicate.

Anyone know?

(The troubleshooting options seem to be quite limited for ATEM streaming. I'm very tempted to use OBS or some other software on a separate computer for the stream rather than the built-in capability.)

It means you do NOT have an internet connection.
Unplug/turn off the ATEM mini and then plug it back in so your router can recognize it.
You will know it works when the light turns solid red.

Had the same problem, unplugged everything, still blinking and cache filling up. Had a Holy Ghost moment and changed the IP address by one digit, and BOOM! Everything is back to normal. THANK YOU JESUS!

Hi everyone.

If you are streaming using RTMP from an ATEM (I'm doing it from a Mini Pro ISO, but some friends had exactly the same issue with a Mini Pro) to a PEERTUBE instance, this will not work.

- either the live will cut every few minutes
- or if the image is really not moving much, every 40 seconds precisely

the library used by Peertube is Node-Media-Server for NodeJS and we opened a issue there too :

As of now we have no idea why the ATEM rtmp client is not working with this RTMP server ...

Note: if you are using Nginx-Rtmp as a relay (a rtmp server + a rtmp client forwarding the traffic "as is") it works perfectly (weird) this is this module :

It would be great if BlackMagicDesign would help us debugging this issue ;)

I set my ATEM and router to a permanent address a year ago and have not had this problem since.
