Micro Studio 4k G2 SDI connector

PostSun Jan 28, 2024 5:21 pm

Does anyone know what type of sdi connector I need to connect to this camera. I purchased this from B&H but it looks to be the wrong one.

Canare L-2.5CHD 3G/HD-SDI Cable with 1.0/2.3 DIN to BNC Male Connectors (1 ft)
BH #CAL2.5CHDB1

Also do you know if you can control the camera with atem Television Studio HD using HDMI or does it have to use SDI for camera controls?

This and the used ATEM is my first blackmagic purchase. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is a Micro BNC. Look for this part number: CABLE-MICRO/BNCFM. There is a Male BNC version as well if that is better.

While the Micro Studio Camera may be controlled over either SDI or HDMI, the Television Studio HD does not send camera control over its HDMI.

I hope this helps.

Its important - the older Blackmagic 6G Kabel for the old 4k Micro won't fit. Maybe this should be nailed on. I think we won't see this question for the last time.

Sorry to revive this one, but I'm a bit lost here.

I'm going to use 2x Micro Studio 4K G2 on a DeckLink 8K Pro G2. I can't for the life of me seem to find cables over 70cm length that are Micro-BNC to BNC. I'd probably need one in 2m, one in 3m. Are there any available in Europe?
Thanks
