Hi Folks
Looking for feedback from any other users or developers of DeckLink IP cards.
We are using a Decklink IP HD Optical card connected via a direct connect SFP+ either to an Ubuntu server or to a Ross Video Newt (we had issues with compatibility when connecting via a Mikrotik 10G switch). Desktop Video 12.8 drivers.
We see the PTPv2 clock processing working normally out of the DeckLink - all the usual PTP traffic is observed and seems stable. We are also able to pick up the peer to peer NMOS advertisements from the DeckLink card.
However, we are seeing ZERO traffic for multicast RTP for audio or video. We have tried altering all the controllable IP parameters in the card, and with 2 different pieces of software driving video into the card, but we get nothing out in terms of ST2110 video/audio traffic.
Are there any specific pre-requisites to set or change before the DeckLink HD IP Optical card begins to emit ST2110 traffic ? does it output ST2110 black when there is no software controlling the Card ? I realise that getting 2110 into the card requires NMOS IS-05 messages to set it up but I am assuming the output should just flow, all the time.
Can anyone confirm they are getting output from this card (and into what ?)
Does anyone have any suggestions on troubleshooting ?
Anyone else had a similar problem ?
