ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO with a RAID array

PostFri Feb 09, 2024 8:38 am

Does anyone know the maximum size of storage that the ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO can handle?

As background we do live awards ceremonies for our university and they involve a 6+ cameras with backup copies of each source which results in loads of data and large amounts of copying times to clear off the camera media for the next show. We back everything up to a portable G-Techology RAID that we have for the job but it does mean at the end of the day I'm the last one out having copied everything onto it.

I'm interested if there is an option to plug in a RAID via USB-C (the RAID is Thunderbolt 3) to capture the ISO recordings from a ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO rather than more removable drives that I'd have to copy across to the RAID anyway?

Many thanks,

Cameron.
