Atem Switcher Software Install Error

I'm trying to install this software on an ASUS AMD Quad Core A4-5000. Windows 8. I'm getting the flowing message. Anyone experience this?? Any suggestions??

please install as Administrator the software under Windows 8 oder 8.1

I just checked and I am already the administrator. Any other thoughts?

clutching at straws here. might be a display driver issue. I think I recall some prior posts of failed installs and that was the issue. seems odd... but without any other fix..just check that out.

of course beyond this... call the BM support line

Oddly, being the Administrator is not the same as running an application as Administrator. I don't know if this is the problem, but right click the application icon and select "Run as Administrator".

Thanks, not sure exactly what is was that fixed it, but here is what happened. I installed the software on a brand new laptop which had not been fully updated through "Windows Update". Once i applied the required updates it installed without a problem.

Thanks for your thoughts and idea's. I know I will have more as I am putting together a system right now.
