Static discharge changes video color mode!?

Please change this behaviour by giving option in the prefs NOT to change color mode after it is initalized!

Also audio seems to be lost.

This happens at least with BMD Micro Converter HDMI to SDI 3G model and with the recently released firmware.

Can't believe this "feature" has been slipped trough!

It renders BMD converters useless = not reliable operation!

There is no mode, option, setting, or “feature” that creates that mustard yellow effect, it’s broken.

Good Luck

Hi Howard.

I don't think so: a new static discharge usually reverts it to normal operation..

So it is! I hug you, colleague! Although I haven't had a mustard picture yet, I've had a lack of a picture many times. When switching the microconverter, a static charge sometimes beats electricity. But I did not notice the relationship between the converter's performance and static discharge. Replacing one converter with another sometimes brings a positive result. But next time я have to replace this "working" converter with a "non-working" one and the non-working one turns out to be working))). And this carousel lasted for six months, until 4 SDI-HDMI converters stopped working fatally. So what's the reason? And what should I do? The audience wants the show to go on.
