Hey everyone,
I'm setting up a new studio and want to ensure I'm getting the correct equipment. We'll set up a round donut-shaped table with six mics surrounded by 6 Studio 6k cameras. The cameras will be connected via SDI to our control room with a TVS 4K8 mixer. I've decided to make the jump as we're planning on this being long-term, and I don't want to buy something only running HD. This is where I get a bit lost. As I understand it, I need to run the SDI outs to 6 4k Hyperdecks to get ISO recordings for each with full timecode sync. The piece I've loved seeing is with the HD ISO model; it produces a Devinci Resolve multicam file automatically that can be easily edited. Do I lose this capability with the 4K8?
