Live Scoreboard - College Athletics

Has anyone setup a live scorebug system lately? I recently purchased 2 Television Studio HD8s. I love the switchers, but I am having trouble honing in on the best option for a live scoreboard. We broadcast football, soccer, volleyball, and basketball. Currently, I am shooting the board with a cam and using one of my MEs to crop it for a key. I would like to work up a new system that will help me be a little more flexible and maintain a consistent look for the scoreboard.
I've considered using OCR and a third-part app, but I haven't found a good solution to get me all the way through. Anyone have any experience with this?
I'm at a loss for what to do. I need it to integrate with the system because I can't put a person on controlling a secondary clock/score. Please help if you have any advice. Thank you so much.
