PTZ head for Ursa Broadcast G2

PostMon Mar 18, 2024 10:12 am

I'm looking into solutions for a ptz head (pan, tilt, zoom, ccu) for a Ursa Broadcast G2.

Has anyone tried a

- RUSHWORKS PTX Model 3 PRO PanTilt Head
- MultiCAM SPIRIT Head yet?
- MRMC AFC-100

Or what do you use/recomend?

I have the Mark Roberts AFC-100 head and 4 metre track running via their Flair software. The AFC-100 will easily take the UB G2 but suggest a short lighter lens like the UB bundle Fujinon LA16.

I also use the AFC-100 head with MRMC Polymotion Studio autotracking software on conferences. Pricey, but the best from the point of view of replicating hand-guided pan and tilt operation.
2 x Sony FX9, 2 x Sony FX6, 6 x Ursa Broadcasts, 2 x Canon CR-N500 PTZeds with MRMC auto-tracking, ATEM CCU, ATEM TV Studio 4K. NewTek Tricaster TC1 and 460. Dataton Watchout, Reckeen 3D Studio & vMix 4K
