We recorded two 2 hour sessions for broadcast on a Hyperdeck. We have been using it for years without issue. One file opens and plays as expected. The other is unable to open, it shows as a QuickTime file and no matter what we do we cannot open it. We cannot simply reshoot so we need to recover the footage. Any ideas?

Does it play back on the Hyperdeck itself?

It does not, the light flashes green like it wants to play and then it just goes back to the sdi input.

What does ffmpeg say about the file ? ffprobe, can it read it ?
