Production Camera 4k with Panasonic AG-HMX100 Digital AV Mix

Hi, I'm thinking about purchasing and using four Blackmagic Production Camera 4Ks with a Panasonic AG-HMX100 Digital AV Mixer (I already own this). My question is if the 6G HD-SDI is compatible with the mixer (which accepts HD-SDI) by sending 1080i (not 4k).
Does anyone have experience with this particular mixer and camera together?

The specs say that it works in 1920x1080i59.94 so hopefully it sends that on the SDI output along with shooting in that format. But I would recommend you search for some of the other posts about using BMCC for live production. This isn't that best workflow use for these kind of cameras.
