Camera gain setting not holding when connected to Atem retur

I have recently tried to record a theatre show with low level lighting, it was a great opportunity to try out the 4K studio cameras native 18db gain setting. However when I connected the return feed from the cameras studio convertor to the TV studio HD ISO outputs the cameras gain setting reset back to 0db. What am I doing wrong, is the Atems camera control over riding the cameras setting? Also noticed that you can’t adjust the camera gain from the Atem camera controls. Anybody else had this issue, what do I need to do to prevent this?

Usually Atem overwrite camera settings at start of application to avoid user mistake.
You can record macro to setup every camera and not only in one seconds.

File > preferences > Mapping
then change all inputs to "none"
or something along those lines...
