Hyperdeck and RS-422 control

I just purchased a Hyperdeck Studio Pro 2 and trying to get it to synce via RS-422. Somehow, there doesn't seem to be much information on any of this. All I'm trying to do is to trigger my Hyperdeck to start recording from an app like Davinci Resolve or Blackmagic Media Express.
