So I have a Hyperdeck Studio 4k and it syncs its timecode from the Audio OUT of our Constellation 8k to the timecode IN on the Hyperdeck Studio 4k.
I have a Hyperdeck Mini Plus (the one that has a timecode IN BNC port) and I'm running a cable from TC OUT on the Hyperdeck Studio 4k to the mini plus. And timecode is in sync. I also have REF OUT from the Hyperdeck Studio 4k to the REF IN on the mini plus.
However, I have 2 other Hyperdeck Mini's (the ones with OUT the TC in). I tried running REF IN from the REF OUT of both the Hyperdeck Studio 4k and the Hyperdeck Mini Plus. My only option on the standard minis for timecode is "Video Input" or "Preset". the "External" is greyed out. My video feed comes from a PTZ camera so the timecode will not be embedded in its video feed.
So how do I make this work?
