Orange Camera Tint

PostFri Apr 12, 2024 4:58 pm

My knowledge of cameras is admittedly limited, but I'm having an issue with our Blackmagic 4k Camera. The image attached shows two of our services side by side. The image on the left is the most recent and inexplicably orange. We haven't changed any settings on our camera, nor our ATEM switcher. Our lighting cues haven't changed and this tint doesn't appear on any other cameras. Any insight that people way smarter than me could provide would be super helpful. I'm leaning towards a white balance issue, but I don't know how it could have changed on its own.

The white balance would be the primary choice that I would think of, perhaps one of your camera operators might have adjusted it on accident. I also know that some Blackmagic cameras have a color tint in the settings that can effect your image. I would recommend checking the white balance, ISO, and tint on the camera that has the best image and set your other camera with the orange tint to that same numerical value.
