So here are my thoughts on a camera chain....
Pocket Cam to ATEM Camera Converter to ATEM Studio Converter to *Up/Down/Cross* to ATEM 1.
I have all of the gear to build it out except the pocket camera. If I could nail down the latency info and a lens plan. I would order a camera to test it out really quick and I could let everyone know if it works okay. Im in the process of using a camera replacement budget for a small flypack we have built. I would end up buying 3 or 4 cameras to match.
Here are my questions:
1. Latency - Whats the latency from the Pocket Camera though HDMI? Can someone take a picture of a stopwatch that is being shot with the pocket cam. The photo would need to include the stopwatch, the display on the pocket camera and a monitor display from the HDMI....
2. Video Lens - I want to use a video lens, not a DSLR lens. A video lens can have the focus set, then the lens can zoom in and out with out completely loosing focus. A lens like this could be a 18-200mm NEX Sony FS100 lens, but the adaptor would need to be active for iris control.
Thanks a million for any thoughts, help, and input!
