Black edges on hyperdeck graphics

I have strange black edges on my live graphics. This occurs only sometimes. Anybody has the same issue?
It helps sometimes to restart ATEM or Hyperdeck. But not always.

Here two screenshots recorded on a grey background. One with the black edges and one without.

Setup:
Hyperdeck Studio HD Plus connected with two SDI-HDMI Converters for key and fill to an ATEM Mini Extreme.

Thanks for any advice!

Looks like the key and fill are offset by 50px or so. Is this a motion graphic? There is a Hyperdeck issue where key and fill are offset by a frame. That would only explain the issue if it’s a purely horizontal move otherwise it’s a timing issue. Are the converters the same? Also inputs 1 and 2 use different input processing so best to have key/fill on 1-2 or 3-8.

Good Luck

Yes it is a motion graphic.
Converters are the same.
key/fill are on input 7 and 8.
The graphics move around in all directions. But the black edge is always on the left side.
That would fit for a pixel offset.
You gave me the right keyword to search. Seems other people have also the same issue. But I havent found a permanent solution for it. Unplug and replug the fill-hdmi cable on the ATEM solves the issue.
But its enoying to do that every time...
Thanks a lot for your help!

I've seen the same thing happening with this setup with SDI to HDMI converters. Just disconnecting and reconnecting the key signal (a few times) seems to fix it.

Hi there,

You're absolutely right, I've had the same problem with these SDI to HDMI converters. As an SEO expert, I like to optimize my solutions, and this trick of disconnecting and reconnecting the signal often works like a charm. If only all solutions were this simple and effective!

It's because of the SDI-HDMI converters and with my setup it only occurs with 1080P/I 50/60.
So to get rid of it you have to buy better converters unfortunately.
