HyperDeck Studio Pro Playback issues ProRes

Hi,

we're using our Hyperdeck Studio Pro to screen Finished Edits/Programms, in that case just as a playback device via SSDs (Intel SSD 530 Series 240GB) for files that are not captured with the hyperdeck itself.

Files mostly come from FCP as Full HD quicktimes, ProRes HQ with stereo audio.

Sometimes there is 1- 2 Frames lack of playback. The Master Quicktimes do not contain any dropped frames, this is 100% checked.
HyperDeck is connected via HDMI or SDi to bigger Monitors(50 inches and up) or Panasonic DLP Projectors.


Has anyone ever had similar problems with files not captured by the Deck?

Initially we had issues with the audio until we discovered it had to be uncompressed audio. I've also had issues with tri-level sync, and switched to bi-level sync and everything has worked fine since.

Make sure the input setting matches your file setting. Even though you'd think an input setting shouldn't limit what it can playback, it does. It's more of a system setting than an input setting.
