Hi,

I did a broadcast the other day and I use two Sony a6600 cameras. I usually have a micro-HDMI to regular HDMI cable directly to the ATEM Mini pro ISO I use. This time I needed longer cables and I bought hi quality extension cables, I had trouble getting picture to the mixer, at first one camera was working then I couldn't get a picture in any of them. The extension cables are 5 meters in length. (16 feet approx) When I switched to regular cables everything was working fine again. Any thoughts?

Thats HDMI .. Welcome !

If u need longer cables.. Than good idea is to convert hdmi to sdi and use long SDI cables .. I mean 20m+

In HDMI world .. Now is available lot of optical hdmi cables .. It have sender / receiver side .. And works good .. We use 20m and 50m ones ..
