Feature request EDID mode reflects capture mode

I know that many people use BM capture devices in a variety of settings and often plug computers or other devices that negotiate EDID with the capture (or other input devices).

I don't have access to many devices but this may be true for other BM devices that support format switching for HDMI inputs as well, but for now I am talking about capture devices. The Decklink SDK either reads the input format when it is present or, lets you choose a specific capture format for the hardware.

It would be great if when a specific capture format is selected, that the devices HDMI emits the correct EDID for that profile. As it is, as far as my testing goes, once selecting a format, despite the capture device now only accepting that format, the EDID profile stays the same and devices connecting to that HDMI input still see all available capture modes. It would be a great to have an EDID follows capture format tickbox in Desktop video, so that when this is ticked and the capture format of an HDMI input is selected, that input communicates an EDID profile that only has the format selected. This would be a great feature IMHO and remove some issues with connecting devices that negotiate EDID with inputs.
