Does anyone know if the ultramatte can key out based on luminance values and not just green/blue chroma?
Use case:
I record and stream conference talks of well lit speakers on a black background.
I'd love to mask out the background to be able to zoom in on the speaker and have slides to the side in a composition where the speaker is layered on top. Without a mask I need the whole frame to be clear of the slides, but if masked the speaker could be moving in front of the slides and make better use of the screen real estate.
I can do it in post production, but it'd be sweet to be able to do live and the ultramatte might be able to do it - mathematically it's just masking out luminance below a certain threshold, but for the life of me I cannot see if there's a way to output a luminance mask/matte from the ultramatte or if it's entirely designed for green/blue-screen.
Anyone?
