Change flying key A / B settings in the background?

Preparing shows, especially with greenscreen / chroma keys, having two keyframes for flying keys often isn't enough for me.
Is there a way to load a setting for keyframes A or B in the background, without changing the actual live flying key setting?
So I can then use the Run to A or B to change the position smoothly.

I'm up to coding macro XML if necessary, but not sure whether that's the solution or where the keyframe settings are stored.

I'm mainly working on a Constellation 8K, also running bitfocus companion and mixeffect.

cheers,
Andi

If the keys are On Air and visible, I don’t think this is possible. But, since you are using MixEffect and Companion already, have you looked into the animated DVE options with the two? It lets you do transitions between DVE settings similar to MixEffect’s SuperSource preset transitions. This video goes into how it’s done:

Best to use the Generic OSC module to control MixEffect and the Automations section in the USK section to copy the settings to be pasted into your Companion buttons.
