Hi,

I need some advice of which BlackMagic Devices for the following setup. I am new to all this.

2 x TVs with HDMI Inputs on Stage - Display for the Audience
2 x TVs with HDMI Inputs in the back of the auditorium - Confidence Monitors for Vocalists and Pastor

We will be using ProPresenter software on a 2023 16" Macbook Pro:
- M3 Pro (12-Core CPU / 18-Core GPU)
- 18GB RAM
- 3 x Thunderbolt Ports
- 1 x HDMI Port


Which Micro-Converters should I be looking at?

Should I go with HDMI to SDI and SDI to HDMI?
Or should I go with Thunderbolt to SDI?
How do I split the same display to two TVs?
Do I daisy chain SDI? Do I "split" the HDMI? Or do I split the SDI? Or is there a micro-converter that has 2 outputs?

You do not need SDI for anything and Blackmagic to the best of my knowledge don't do HDMI splitters.

Audience Displays
1 x Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter for Mac - to provide audience screens output
1 x 2-way HDMI splitter
2 x HDMI cables to go from the splitter to the 2 x audience displays

When using HDMI splitters, I don't use passive HDMI cables over 10 metres. Over 10 metres - use fibre HDMI - they're relatively inexpensive now. Note: Fibre HDMI's are not bi-directional, so one end says SOURCE, the other DISPLAY.

The FOH is in the back of the auditorium, which is over 80ft (24 meters) away from the Display for the Audience.

I prefer to use SDI or Ethernet. Also I feel like we can just buy a spool of SDI or Ethernet Cable (for a good price) and add connectors. And I have extra cable in case of failure. Can we do the same with Fibre HDMI Cables? Any recommendation on Fibre HDMI Cable?
