is it possible to in/out a video with alpha channel?
Posted: Fri Sep 13, 2024 4:21 amhi, i need to display of a PC screen view to another PC(Pandoras Box). so i have consider a way of that using normal capture card. however, i found DeckLink products support codecs like "Apple ProRes 4444" or "Uncompressed 10bit 4:4:4".
that codecs can include alpha channel as i know.
so my guess is "maybe if i can output video included alpha channel, the receiver can be also received the video with alpha channel?".
is it possible? i consider a product "DeckLink 8K Pro G2".
