ATEM Mini Pro to YouTube via Ethernet Issue

I've got the ATEM Mini Pro connected to a 2015 MacBook Pro running Mavericks. For the past eight months, I've been using it to switch cameras for a livestream that we send out on YouTube Studio. The ATEM has been connected to the MBP via the USB-C cable.

I would like to record from the ATEM using the USB-C port to connect an SSD. I have connected the ATEM to the MBP with an Ethernet cable and have gotten the ATEM Control Software to recognize the ATEM and it has full control over the ATEM.

However, when I go into YouTube Studio Live Control, the video and audio options for the ATEM are no longer available. Essentially, YouTube doesn't "see" the ATEM. I also checked with my Streamyard connection and same issue - the ATEM no longer appears as a connection option.

Any thoughts on what the issue might be?

Thanks!

The Mini Pro models only have a single USB-C port. You can. Either capture via USB or record to SSD but no both.

What you can do is record to an SSD and stream via ethernet. You can use ATEM software control to control the ATEM over a network connection.

Look at some tutorials on YouTube - there are lots.

Thanks. I did look on YouTube but couldn't find one that addressed this issue of using Ethernet to connect to the ATEM and stream though YTStudio. But if the only way to stream and record is to connect to YouTube directly from the ATEM via internet then I guess I need to reconfigure.
