Hello, I have a client who wants to record his VLOG and have the files auto-upload to his editor.
One solution I have come up with is to RECORD the video in OBS, have the files save into a Google Drive Sync Folder.
many questions for this setup, but at the moment,
Can anyone confirm I can pipe 2160p30 from the camera into OBS on the laptop (new Macbook Pro) via Thunderbolt?
What image quality can I expect from a "very high" setting in OBS? Will there be obvious loss vs recording in camera?
workflow:
Sony FX3 (UHD, Cinetone profile, HDMI out) -->BM micro Converter HDMI-SDI 12G -->
UltraStudio 4K -->OBS (via Thunderbolt 3) RECORD high quality [codec?]
-->Google Drive Sync Folder
