ATEM Software Control 9.6.2 crashes with ATEM Mini Pro

I have an ATEM Mini Pro and I recently tried upgrading to v9.6.2 of the ATEM Software Control.
However, when I start the software it immediately closes or, if it doesn't close immediately, it does when I try to click anything.
After rebooting my Mac Studio M1 Max with MacOS Sequoia 15.1, this issue is not resolved.
I tried uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling.
I tried downloading a fresh copy of the installer and trying again but every try failed with the software closing as soon as it opened, or closing when I clicked something.

The solution for me at the moment was to go back to v9.5.1 of the ATEM Software Control, this solved the problem.
Has anyone found this also, is BMD doing anything about it or is this by design?

I've also experienced regular crashes of ATEM Software Control since 9.6.2 (on MacOS 14.7.1). For me it seems mostly tied to making changes on the Switcher tab to streaming or recording settings, or even start/stop recording (as happened today - stopped recording from the ATEM hardware button and the software suddenly crashed on the Mac (a sudden disappearance/quit of the running software, not hanging with spinning beachball)

[Connected to ATEM Min Extreme ISO via WiFi today, previous crashes on Ethernet connection]

Just curious as to the purpose of upgrading to 9.6.xx when the release notes don't cite any updates pertinent to the ATEM Mini range? It is interesting that a roll-back to 9.5.1 (being the last ATEM Mini update) resolved things for the OP.

For me I just downloaded the software control on new PC not realizing and when I plugged in ATEM Extreme ISO it told me i needed to update. So now here I am with a potato of a switcher that won’t work properly lol.
