Splitting the HDMI output from an ATEM MINI

PostTue Nov 12, 2024 2:17 am

All,

im an audio guy who has been forced to deal with video..

usually Not a problem however today things got interesting:

ATEM Mini sends Multiview HDMI to a Dell monitor-works great.

REI HD102 HDMI splitter allows Dell to work just fine..splits to secondary Viewsonic monitor for testing.

ATEM Mini Multiview connected to a NK-M009 HDMI to SDI converter wont display on the far end where it is converted back to HDMI with a Black Magic mini SDI to HDMI 3G converter.

Native SDI to the mini converter is fine.

I am of the belief that the issue here is the HDMI to SDI converter- likely not outputting a progressive signal even though it claims to.. but i am unable to verify with the mfgr.

i know BMD makes 3 mini converters but im not sure which one is best for this scenario.

Might someone offer a recommendation?

thx
