Hello, I have two identical lenses, Olympus M.ZUIKO ED 12-50 mm f/3.5-6.3 EZ-M1250-EZ. One works without any issues, but the other constantly changes the aperture value even when I have manually set the aperture to higher than 6.3. Is there anyone who can advise me on what might be causing this? I have previously encountered this issue with the Panasonic Lumix G X Vario PX 14-42 mm f/3.5-5.6 lens, but I assumed it was just the lens itself. However, now I have two identical lenses, and only one has this problem, so I’m curious to know what could be causing it and whether it can be fixed.

Use with blackmagic studio camera 4K PRO

Thank you.

ATEM CCU is a bit weird with some MFT lenses.

What usually works is in ATEM camera control set the lens full wide. Set the aperture 6.3 or smaller. Full zoom in see if it's still the same.

If not set it again. Zoom out and see if it holds.

You many need to rinse and repeat until it stays locked.

It's annoying but does usually lock off.

It could be a lens firmware issue. The last two firmwares for that lens specifically address aperture stability when shooting video. I don’t believe BM cams reveal the lens firmware, maybe in the metadata? Probably need to find a buddy with a Panasonic or Oly cam to update.
