Rigging 2110 IP Mini Converters

PostSun Nov 17, 2024 4:18 pm

I am using a 2110 IP Mini BiDirect 12G Converter with a handheld camera setup. One of these units will be carried by the camera operator. However, I’m having trouble finding suitable mounting options for this device, either attaching it to the rig via standard mounting points or securing it to a belt.

Before fabricating a custom solution, I wanted to ask if anyone has dealt with a similar requirement. Have you found any off-the-shelf solutions or successfully adapted an existing product?

I’ve been considering clamps that attach to a cold shoe, NATO rail, or 1/4"-20 threads, but I’m not sure if those would work well.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Respectfully,

Somebody could 3D print a belt pack housing for this with a locking ethercon, would be a simple design.

Good Luck
