BM Video Assist 5/7 3G Input 4K Signal

it’s a simple question but I can’t find an answer. I want to buy a monitor for my stream setup. My camera outputs a 4K signal for the stream and I can’t separate the outputs. So I can’t send 4K via HDMI and 1080p via SDI. Can I input a 4K signal into the 3g variant and it just scales it down to full hd? I want to record it in 1080p on the monitor.
