VMIX Black Magic DeckLinjk 4k Extreme 12G XLR input

PostTue Nov 19, 2024 12:46 am

I have a computer ( Lenovo P720 with 96 gigs of ram and a A4000 video card 16gig running WIN 11 pro) and a Dell with Windows 10 Pro 96 gigs of ram and an A4000 video card) In booth of these machines I have a Decklink 4k Extreme 12g and a Decklink Duo SDI and a DeckLink Quad HDMI Recorder. I have 8 20 or 32 x PTZ optics PTZ cameras connected 4 SDI and 4 HDMI - I use the HDMI out from the Extreme to output the video to a Harmon Video Switch throughout the building TV's and we also broadcast on UStream, YouTube and Facebook. All that works fine.

The question I have is there a known issue with the combination of these three cards. Can you use the XLR input on the extreme to bring in the audio from the XLR off the Roland V-Mixer, or anything else as I am sure it does not matter the source. I did have it working a while back, but I do not recall if I had a HDMI camera in on the Extreme HDMI or not. Some where I read that you have to have a camera input on the HDMI for the XLR input to work. ( I did ues the desktop config tool to set the XLR in) Does anyone have this working by chance? Thanks for your response ahead of time.
