Only getting 1 DaVinci project file for multiple recordings

I recorded 4 podcasts in one day. I live switched between 2 cameras using an Atem Extreme ISO. I was expecting to get 4 DaVinci Resolve drp project files on my SSD at the end of the day. However instead I only had one project file.
When I opened it up I noticed that all 4 recordings were spread across a singe timeline (see screenshot - ignore that media is offline!).
I asked a friend who is more familiar with Blackmagic switchers and he gets a separate project file for each recording session.
Is there something I am missing here? This is only my second time using the device and the same thing happened the first time. Would love to know if anyone else has experienced this?
