[Solved] BM Micro Camera and MFT to Canon lens adapter?

One of my clients is creating video podcasts in a talking-head style.

He’s very interested in purchasing a BM micro Studio Production Camera and would like to use a Canon lens he already owns. As far as I know, it’s an inexpensive lens, but it gets the job done.

I’m wondering if he would need to buy an adapter that isn’t too expensive.

Please note that for the videos he’s producing, advanced features like auto-iris or auto-focus are not necessary. Once white balance, iris, and focus are set, they remain fixed (with a quick check before each recording session).

What would you suggest?
I will share your recommendations with him.

Really it depends on the focal length of the lens. What worked on a Canon camera is probably not going to work on a micro without a speedbooster, which is the most expensive adapter. What is the lens and how big is the space?

Good Luck

I'm doing this exact thing with a Viltrox EF-M2 II Canon EF Lens to Micro Four Thirds Camera Mount Adapter

I have a BMPCC4k, 2x BM Studio camera 4k pro G2, and a Micro Studio G2, and I use those with all of them. I am using canon and sigma EF lenses & they work great.

he bought the camera with a MFT lens as well (about 300 euro) 48mm f1.8 which is all what he needs for the time being.
