ATEM Camera Control Panel + Arduino SDI Shield

PostWed Dec 18, 2024 9:28 am

Hello, I would like to know if there is any way to use the Atem Camera Control Panel without an Atem mixer, maybe with the Arduino shield, to send the CCU commands through the SDI. Is this possible? Thank you in advance.

The Atem Camera Control Panel sends camera control data to the ATEM using a secret UDP protocol. The ATEM then embeds the camera control data into the SDI which the cameras read and react.
It is possible to do what you want but requires a lot of coding and intimate knowledge of the ATEM secret UDP protocol.
You may also do it using the BMD SDK but also requires a lot of coding.

I’ve seen that you have a device similar to what I intended to create, the Atem2CCU. Would it work for what I need, or does it only receive commands from an ATEM Switcher?
