2110 Networking

I am trying to network together some 2110 devices and could use some guidance.

I have two Blackmagic 2110 IP Converter 3x3G and two Blackmagic 2110 IP Mini BiDirect 12G.

I have them connected via cat6A cables to a Netgear M4300-16X. They do not seem to be able to see each other. Do I need a Blackmagic Network Switch 360P to route the video signals as well as the the Netgear switch?
(I'd like to use POE, the Blackmagic switch doesn't do POE, correct?)

I don't know if any Netgear switches are yet ST.2110 friendly.

This is what Netgear said a year or two ago :
"If you are after OSPF, PIM, and PTP Boundary mode, it would mean you have SMPTE (ST2110 /AES67) applications. I am sorry to tell you, that we don't support SMPTE at NETGEAR today."

This may have changed since that was posted - but ST.2110 video and audio requires very specific functionality in switches related to PTP and specific multicast functionality - standard COTS Managed switches that don't specifically mention ST.2110/AES67 support are probably best avoided unless you have seen reports of others using them successfully. (Beware sometimes AES67 will work on switches it shouldn't - but that doesn't mean ST.2110 video will)

I think this is one reason BMD has produced an ST.2110-compatible switch of their own - to help simplify this. (The ST.2110 large scale installs I've seen in OB trucks usually use Arista or Cisco switches I think)

That Netgear Switch is listed as compatible by Blackmagic in the user manual.

If BMD confirm it's a compatible switch then I guess confirming the configuration required for both the switch and BMD ST.2110 equipment is the next step to troubleshoot.
