Delay Audio on ATEM consolle

Hi,
I have "ATEM Television Studio Pro HD" and I connected the audio output of my audio mixer to the XLR input of this consolle. I have the delay between this audio input and the cameras that I connected to the SDI inputs.
What is the delay that the mixer adds to the embedded output?
Thanks

Delay depends on any device you add.
Just adjust so it matches ;)

The ATEM delay is from 10 lines to a frame max if sources are not locked. Any other latency will be from the sources. Output displays have latency but have no effect on audio sync with SDI. I hope this helps.

Thanks to all for the answers, my situation is as follows:
IN-1: Sony HDMI camera
IN-5: Ursa Broadcast G2
IN-6: Ursa Broadcast G2
IN-7: Sony SDI camera
IN-8: Sony SDI camera

IN XLR: audio from mixer with church microphones

The PGM SDI output of the video mixer, with any camera selected, has the audio from the microphones (XLR input) delayed, it seems at least 10 frames. Is such a big delay possible?

Sorry for my bad English

Hello Paolo. In the setup you describe, the audio would typically be about 3-5 frames ahead of the video. It is not common for audio to be later than the video unless it is going through some sort of specialized processing. In the ATEM Audio Mixer you can set the delay for the analog audio input which comes from your console. Try setting it a few frames and see if it is better. That would be very common and normal. If your audio is really delayed from the video initially, I would look for the source of that delay and try to eliminate it. 10 frames is quite long. I hope this helps.

Hi Gary and thanks for the reply.
Yes, yes, I know that it is normal for the audio to be slightly delayed (embedders, all of them, are delayed anyway). I was puzzled by this considerable delay and I found the problem (misaligned transmission encoder). 3/5 frames of delay is certainly normal. Another question, because I searched but I could not find the delay adjustment on the XLR input of the ATEM. Where is it? Maybe my model does not provide for delaying the XLR input?
Thanks again.

Hi Paolo. Unfortunately, the Television Studio HD Pro does not have the newer Fairlight Audio Processing feature that the newer ATEMs have, so the Audio Delay function is not present. I had do double check as my memory on such things is not as good. Some users will feed their audio console to one of the camera audio inputs and use that path. The audio will generally be in sync with that camera.

or add delay in audio console before ATEM .. Or add delay in OBS, if you are streaming ..

In my experience the TVS HD doesn't need any delay at the XLRs with SDI camera feeds.

Where/how are you seeing the delay?

With a Hyperdeck recording or something else like ObS etc?

Every ATEM have minimaly 1frame delay , because frame syncs on input ..
