I cant update firmware on my Multiview 4 because apparently it needs drivers, which are NOT included in the multiview setup utility??

Hi Koos

It has happened to me with other BMD equipment, however, you can try to do a manual driver installation

Right click - update driver, Browse my computer for drivers and select the right folder path.
(C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\Blackmagic MultiView\Driver)
first, confirm if this path exists on your computer.

My 2 cents

Thanks Nelson - it doesnt work because there are no available drivers in any of the BMD downloads for multiview.. it only contains the apps.

I tried searching for device IDs but came up dry :(

Hi Koos

The drivers folder is NOT inside the installer folder (the downloaded . zip file).

The folder is created in the path where the application is installed.

Check it out. (C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\Blackmagic MultiView\Driver)

I hope it helps.
