Greetings, I am attempting to create video podcast on YouTube. I have a camera input 3 that is pointed to the presenter and I have a laptop with the presentation pointed to input 2.

I am able to use the upstream key 1 to chroma the input 3 background. When I add a DVE of input 3 (presenter) to the input 2 presentation it shows the green screen. How do I get the DVE showing green to be chroma keyed to the same background as camera input 3.

I have the same issue with using supersource.

I have tried to populate upstream keyed 2 to solve and when I cut the transition it shows upstream keyer 1 and the upstream keyed 2 DVE still green.

Is there a layer hierarchy when using multiple upstream keys?

If I have multiple cameras as input do I have to apply an upstream keyer to each in order to have the same MP background?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

Unless I'm missing something, when you are using the DVE, the upstream keyer is used to key the DVE - it ceases to be available for chroma keying? There is only one upstream keyer - and when keying the DVE I don't think it lets you override the keyer back to chroma key (which more expensive mainstream switchers with resizers on keyers do)

Thank you for your reply. I am using the Atem Mini Extreme ISO and have 4 upstream keyers that are available. Any additional comments are welcomed!

Selecting the same source in both keyers (1 and 2) doesn't mean the effects are inherited (cascade) between layers.

To move, size, mask, or animate a key layer (chroma, linear, etc.,) use the flying keyer. So long as a DVE is available this should yield the desired effect.
