2110 IP Mini BiDirect 12G Convert with Studio Cam 4K/6k Pro

PostSat Mar 01, 2025 10:49 am

Hello everyone,

We are exploring what cameras and cabling options to go with our Constellation 2/ME HD switcher at our church.

I cannot seem to find any details or videos of how to use the 2110 IP Mini BiDirect 12G Converter with the Studio Camera 4K or 6K Pro.

Will this single converter connect 2110 IP to the cameras for power and video using cat6 cable, and then SDI to switcher?

Please help, anybody...

I am looking for the same information. I don't have the budget for a 4X rack converter and I only run two 4k pro G2s currently. Would like to attach 2 BiDirect SDI-IP at the ATEM side and run my two cameras over ONLY the CAT6 cable. Hoping for some answers.

The Bidirectional IP converter does not provide power to the camera. You can power the camera with its power supply and the converter with its supply. The only device from Blackmagic that supplies power PoE++ is the 4x12G frame. You could consider a PoE++ power injector to power the camera. I hope this helps.
