I have a ATEM Extreme ISO that suddenly has stopped recording in a Samsung T7 rugged 1TB. The atem shows a greeen light when connected but orange one when i start recording on it.

The drive is ok, checked with samsung magician. the ATEM is 9.5.1 firmware and PC runs Atem Software 9.7 connected via USB-C. It is listed in the ATEM compatible disks

The drive is formated in EXFAT and works fine in a ATEM EXTREME ISO.

Whan can i do to make it work again? It used to record flawlessly on that drive.

The T7 is designed to write small files.
It is known to have cache problems on writing continous single, larger files. Performance will drasticly go down very quick.
I would not recomend using a T7 with any Atem

I have been using these disks without any flaw for years... and the same disk works fine in a atem mini extreme iso and this disk is in the comptibility list. This is really weird. Can it be related to the firmware?

Which disk would you recommend?

The safest bet when using T7 is using the T7 Touch witch has different design that makes it safe to use with bigger growing files like recordings.
Other T7 are known for problems because they rely heavily on Puffer to keep up speed that only helps with smaller files because it frees up space in the buffer for the next one. Growing files like video files up the puffer really quick causing the write speed dropping a lot.

This is a problem with the new Firmware. If you downgrade back to 9.3 or lower it will start recording again. My personal experience is that it is not the drive. Once I downgraded, I was able to record to my T7 again or any drive for that matter.
