ATEM Mini Pro ISO HDMI out issue based on frame rate

PostTue Mar 25, 2025 4:16 am

Hi team,

I have two Mini Pro ISO units, and one is exhibiting an issue: if I set the frame rate on the HDMI out above 30Hz, it doesn't output at all. Works fine at 30Hz, though.

I've factory reset both via ATEM Setup and by power cycle holding Mic1 Off button, reinstalled 9.5.1 drivers, no improvement.

Fault testing conducted by sending HDMI into a Decimator which reports no signal when frame rates set at 50, 59.94 or 60. The other Mini Pro ISO outputs happily at all refresh rates so I am quite confident test method and controls are solid.

Is this a known hardware issue? Seems odd as otherwise it's fully functional.

Is there an alternative factory reset method/firmware flash option which could resolve?

Our projector will accept 30Hz but if I want to use for multiview it'll be annoying to have to use a device to frame convert.

Cheers,

Jon

Sounds like it might need service.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

I reckon you're right. Not sure how serviceable these little guys are. Was hoping maybe a firmware flash or similar could be done at my end.
