Atem Television Studio HD Mac Issue

My Atem TV Studio HD is having trouble connecting to my Mac Mini. When I first download the software, it connects just fine. After that though it sees the device, but when I try to connect the control surface shows no device. If I open it in administrator mode (terminal command sudo /file-path-to-executable), the control surface will open just fine. but be tied to the terminal. When it opens, it gives the following errors.
Failed to create DaVinci panel information object. Exiting.

qt.core.qobject.connect: QObject::connect: No such signal QButtonGroup::buttonToggled(int, bool)
qt.core.qobject.connect: QObject::connect: No such signal QButtonGroup::buttonToggled(int, bool)
QLayout: Attempting to add QLayout "" to QWidget "", which already has a layout
After this, it will open and work. I do have a work around but am trying to figure out what is wrong. Does anyone have any idea?
