Dear Blackmagic forum,

I hope this message finds you well. I am experiencing an issue with my UltraStudio Mini Recorder, which no longer works with my MacBook Pro M1.

I have installed all the recommended software and drivers from your website, but the device is still not recognized or functioning as expected. I have tried different cables and ports, but the issue persists.

Could you please assist me in resolving this problem? I would greatly appreciate your help.

The newer Mac OS has some security features that block certain software/hardware components. I had this issue with the UltraStudio HD. Try this:

- Go into System Settings under "Login Items & Extensions"

- Scroll down into the Extensions

- Click the i icon for the Camera Extensions and Driver Extensions. You will most likely have to turn on both of those items.

I did this and the UltraStudio HD Mini showed up in my Desktop Video Setup window.

Well, the Ultrastudio HD, it is M1 processors supported...
The Ultrastudio Mini Recorder, it is not..
