pairing bmpcc4k to apc-r mini with iphone

PostFri May 02, 2025 9:20 pm

I have my atem mini extreme connected to a router via cat 6 cable, and my laptop to same router via cable, plus an older iphone connected to the router via wifi (note: I don't have a sim card in the iphone; I just downloaded the Middle Setup software on it), and the ronin rs4 pro. The apc-r mini is attached to the ronin.

I also have the Middle Control software running on my laptop.

I'm now having trouble pairing the pocket 4k to the apc-r

First, I would think that I can use an iphone to pair without a sim card? or no?

I had paired all of the above previously with a borrowed iphone WITH a sim card, but then i had to switch to a different router, and am having to redo with a different iphone without a sim card.

Do I have to unpair the camera and apc-r, then repair? How to do that?

Thanks so much

Update: I did not need a sim card. I ended up removing and then reinstalling the Middle setup app, and then it recognized the camera and apc-r mini and paired them.
On another note, is anybody out there using the apc-r mini? I'm trying to control my camera with wifi through the apcr mini, and then transmit the video with a teradek 750 zero latency transmitter. Would love to know if anybody out there is doing the same.
