ATEM TELEVISION STUDIO HD, REF IN ??

Hi,

I have this machine, from a few years ago. And that comes with a REF IN BNC input, but there is nothing at the front panel, or using the ATEM APP to control the source of sync ( I read you could select internal, program or external ).

Thanks,
Enrique

Hello Enrique. As you see there is no indication of reference locked. There is also no selection for reference type either. A simple trick to know if it is working is to feed a reference that matches the switcher setting. You will see a brief disturbance in the output after about a second or so. If you don’t see this make sure the reference matches the switcher mode setting. I hope this helps.

Hi Gary,

Thanks !!....

So , in this case it means ... if there is a valid REF IN, the ATEM automatically lock to it ?, if not valid or not present, it uses internal reference ?.

Is possible to use the SDK to control this too ?

Thanks,
Enrique

That is correct. If there is a valid reference it will lock. There is nothing to control.

Pretty much like I said. No control. It’s automatic. No access in the SDK either.
