Anyone have any success with creating a tally light using maybe the rs-422 control or maybe even a running timecode hooked into a tally light? Currently using a Hyperdeck Pro 4k (last gen) and getting a latest gen in shortly, and while we can see the obvious recording in the control room, would love to try and feed something out to talent or a producer in the studio so they know if we're on or not. There's currently just a yelling system because I'm too lazy to hit a talkback button every time.
Also would be nice to make it a little bigger in the control room so a couple positions can see it easily.
I don't see a non-clean feed out option from the monitor output, which could be good to see it on another monitor feed even, but when we do use it as another camera input, would be a hassle to keep turning that option on and off, if it exists.
And even timecode running when it records may be annoying if we do need to sync up multiple recorders. Assuming having a master TC run is hard to configure to start and stop each time.
