Trouble with output to cable company

PostThu Jun 26, 2025 3:37 pm

We have a government channel with our cable company(Comcast). When we send an SD output signal, it shows up on TV. When we send an HD output (our cable channel is HD), the Comcast encoder either gives no signal on our channel or a very glitchy signal with no audio.

Our typical signal flow has our various video sources going into our VideoHub, to our playout system(Cablecast), back into the VideoHub, and then out to the Comcast encoder.

We did bypass the videohub just to test (cablecast straight to comcast) and the HD signal worked perfectly.

Has anyone ran into a similar situation or have any possible solutions?
